What the Lighthouse card means
The Lighthouse gives you both roles at once. You are the ship, lost in fog, and you are also the lighthouse, the steady beam that knows the way to solid ground. The card is about inner knowing in conditions of confusion. When the outside world offers no landmarks, a relationship in limbo, a career with no obvious next step, a decision with no clear right answer, the card says your own knowing still shines. The work is to stop staring into the fog and to turn toward the beam. Confusion is weather. Knowing is the light beneath it.
When The Lighthouse appears in a reading
It appears in periods of disorientation, when you have lost your bearings after a change, or when you are looking for external guidance that is not going to arrive.
Journal prompts
- What fog am I currently in, and what have I been hoping would appear to guide me?
- If my inner lighthouse were speaking, what direction would it be pointing?
- For whom am I a lighthouse right now, and am I keeping my beam steady?
Affirmation
My inner light guides me through every fog.
Reading this card for yourself
A card's message is fixed, but its meaning for you depends on where you are. The same card lands differently in a week of endings than in a week of beginnings. Read the meaning above, then sit with the prompts before deciding what it is telling you. For a reading that weighs the card against your birth chart and today's transits, draw it in the app.
