When we refer to cookies in this policy, we also mean similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and related browser-side storage that help us remember settings, maintain sessions, and support functionality.

We use cookies and browser storage to help CosmicOracle function correctly and securely. These technologies help us:

• Keep users signed in and maintain secure authentication sessions.
• Protect login and other flows against bots, abuse, and suspicious activity.
• Remember functional preferences such as selected currency or consent choices.
• Maintain support-chat continuity and temporary interface state during a browsing session.
• Improve reliability and prevent repeated prompts or broken user flows.
• Measure aggregated, anonymised traffic and engagement so we can understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

Strictly necessary cookies. These are used for core service functions such as authentication, session security, request protection, and other features required for the site to operate.

Functional and preference storage. These help us remember choices like pricing currency, consent preferences, and support-widget state so the experience is more consistent across pages and visits.

Session storage. Some features use temporary session storage that lasts only for the current browser tab or browsing session, such as restoring support-chat context while you move around the site.

Analytics cookies. With your consent, we set cookies from Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregated, anonymised traffic and engagement across public pages. These cookies are only loaded after you accept our cookie banner and are not set on the Dashboard or Admin areas.

The names and purposes below reflect the current implementation of CosmicOracle at the time of this policy update:

• Supabase authentication cookies, including cookies prefixed with sb-: used to keep users signed in securely and maintain authenticated sessions.
• cosmic_currency: used to remember or infer pricing currency preferences across visits.
• cosmic_cookie_consent: used to remember the cookie preference you choose in our cookie banner.
• Local storage keys such as cosmic_support_session and cosmic_support_last_activity: used to keep support-chat continuity and session rotation working.
• Session storage keys such as cosmic_support_state and cosmic_support_opened: used to restore chat state during the current session and avoid repeatedly showing the same widget prompts.
• Local storage values such as cosmic_currency: used on the client side to preserve currency preferences between visits.
• _ga: set by Google Analytics to distinguish unique visitors. Typically retained for up to 2 years. Only set after you accept cookies.
• _ga_<container-id> (for example _ga_XXXXXXXXXX): set by Google Analytics 4 to persist session state. Typically retained for up to 2 years. Only set after you accept cookies.

Some third-party services integrated into CosmicOracle may also use cookies or similar technologies in connection with their services. Depending on how you use the platform, this may include Supabase for authentication, Cloudflare Turnstile for CAPTCHA and abuse protection, Stripe for hosted checkout and billing flows, Google services when you sign in with Google, and Google Analytics 4 for aggregated, anonymised site usage measurement.

Those providers may process information according to their own privacy or cookie notices when you interact with their hosted content or services.

You can manage your cookie preference through the cookie banner we display on the site. Essential cookies and storage required for the core operation and security of CosmicOracle cannot be disabled.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting stored cookies or blocking some categories of storage. If you disable essential cookies or related browser storage, parts of CosmicOracle may stop functioning correctly.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or changes in the technologies we use. When we do, we will revise the last updated date on this page.
